Sonic the Hedgehog (Xbox 360)

Sonic the Hedgehog (Xbox 360)
Customer Review: Sonic the Hedgehog review
I bought this game hoping against hope that it would be good, that all the reviews I had read were wrong. This was a mistake, which I shall not be making again.

Sonic Adventure on Dreamcast was one of my favourite games, and still is. It was one of the games that really got me into gaming. I still play it every now and then; it really is that good.

When I first heard that there was going to be a proper Sonic game coming onto PS3 I was ecstatic - Since Sonic Adventure 2 there hadn’t been a good Sonic game, and I needed a new fix of speedy goodness. This game was meant to provide it, with wonderful next-gen graphics.

This game has not provided it, for various reasons (although the graphics are very good indeed, this is probably the only really positive thing about this game).

1)It isn’t very fast. For some reason, SEGA seem to have slowed Sonic down. It is so slow that I really thought at the start of the game that there would be some kind of upgrade coming along soonish to speed Sonic back up to his Dreamcast speed. None of the reviews I’d read had mentioned that Sonic was now relatively slow compared to previously, and I still haven’t seen one that has brought this up. Well, I am. To be fair, that’s not a major gripe, though it is vey annoying: I wanted next-gen speeds to go with the graphics (which are very good actually, but don’t compensate for lack of oomph.)

2)The story is poor. it bears no relevance to previous titles in the series and is simply quite atrocious. Again, not a huge deal, but you’d have thought they’d have made an effort with theirfirst next-gen game. Sadly not.

3)The game is chock-full of glitches which are so glaringly obvious you’d have thought any idiot could have irooned them out. Not SEGA unfortunately. There really are some whoppers here. Sometimes, when you’re going along, on foot or on a snowboard or however else, one (either after hitting something or not) stops dead still. To be going along (moderately) quickly, and then to suddenly stop, even if there’s nothing that is visibly impeding one’s progress, is very disconcerting and actually makes you think about just how little effort has been put into making this game. Other notable glitches include a character, for no reason, moving up a slope that they’re supposed to be going down, and then it being impossible to turn them around again, hitting against a wall and falling into the scenery, losing a life (it’s quite difficult anyway without the added handicap of being swallowed up without a trace for no reason at all)

5)The camera is godawful. This has been a problem in 3D Sonic games since the Dreamcast in 1999. That’s eight years! And now the camera is even worse, somehow. It gets stuck very easily and generally conspires against you to make you fall into holes that are impossible to see until you are in them, etc. Not good.

6) To compensate for the general slowness of Sonci in the game, SEGA have put in special “Speed Stages” (I’m not joking, that’s what they call them. The whole damn game should be a bloody speed stage. Sounds like “free speech zone”, it’s ridiculous). In these “Speed Stages”, you can’t stop or go faster or slower, do any of the moves you can normally do, and the sad irony is that it’s not even that “Speed”-y. No more that you’d be expecting for the game as a whole.

7)Gameplay is generally OK, but not as good as in previous incarnations - obviously the whole thing’s vastly slower (in previous games, other characters were almost as fast as Sonic himself, in this, Sonic’s not fast and the rest are just slow). They kept the horrible vehicles form Shadow the Hedgehog, which are just unnecessary and really aren’t fun to drive at all, and to add insult to injury Shadow now moves with a horrid waddling motion which is irritating to look at and, as mentioned above, isn’t fast.

Tails has a little girl’s voice - I don’t know if it’s the same in the Japanese voices, but the English one is the wrong gender and age. It sounds stupid. (Also, there’s no lip-synching. This is supposed t be NEXT-GEN,the least they could do is taking the effort to lip-synch it for the English release. Anyway, Tails controls badly, can no longer hover and has lost the ability to do a normal attack as previously. What this has been replaced with is frankly a joke and I cn’t quite bring myself to discuss it here. Rest assured, it’s awful. All the other characters have their good points, but most are flawed in irritating ways that taint the gamelay. Some bits are so glitchy as to be virtually unplayable, for example, thre is a snowboarding section that is actually beyond my power to describe it, it really is that abysmal.

8) This may just be my copy, but pre-rendered cut-scenes judder and have slow-down (somehow) if anything is happening much. It sucks, but I’m guessinhg this may just be mine as I’ve seen it running fine elsewhere. Whatever, it’s annoying.

9) Some bits just aren’t well thought out at all. For example, loading screens are very numerous and often the game will, when one has decided to do a challenge within the game world, the game will spend twnety seconds loading, then maybe a line or two is said, then it loads for twenty seconds again. I knew about this before I got it, so it didn’t get me annoyed to start with, but now, it gets me seething whenever it happens. They should have thought it through better.

10) Often, much of a level will simply consist of pressing forward on the analogue stick and not actually interacting very much. the majority of the game is either on a fixed, narrow track or on a rail, and in many areas, it’s possible to just sit back and watch the game play itself, which actually isn’t that fun.

To sum up, this game, while having some good points, fails in most categories to delier, and disappoints far more than it enthrals. To those new to SOnic, I’d say, if you’re interested, get Sonic Adventure or Sonic Adventure 2 and a Dreamcast. This is not only cheaper, but you will be playing a much better game. To fans of the series, sorry guys, this is another stinker, I’d advise you not to buy it. This is dross, SEGA needs a kick up the backside for expecting us to go out and buy this crap.

To be honest, this game probably deserves 2 stars overall, but it isn’t just any new game, it’s a Sonic game by one of the best developers on the planet, and they’ve spewed out THIS. So it only gets 1 star.

Customer Review: sonic 360? puh…
when i first saw this game on the market i got really excited and just had to ask for it for christmas this year, after aquireing my 360 console. As soon as i started this game the first thing i loved was the graphics, they are wonderful and i’m glad that sonic hasn’t lost its cartoon edge.

But as soon as i started to play the actual game i wasn’t overly impressed, the story seems good but it has a few patchy parts in where i lost interest fast. The level design is pretty cool in some areas but a few of them reminded me or Sonic Adventure, for example the first stage the beach level was almost EXACTLY the same as the emerald coast level in SA (and i mean exactly)heh it even included the race with the killer whale sound familliar?

camera controls….well sega has never been very good with those. some of the stages where sonics centre of gravity is STRAIGHT FOREWARD you aren’t in control at all apart from jumping and moveing around in left or right directions, these levels are very frustrateing not to mention the in game loading screens, some of them are absolutely needless they don’t need to be there but they are and the little glitches here and there in some levels annoyed me quite a bit. Its now easier to get A ranks and S ranks on the levels which is a welcomed relief, and gameplay is quite fun running smoothly without a hitch and the small tasks you can do to earn rings are usually very entertaining. all in all its a good game but with a few annoying bits and peices here and there.

Customer Review: A def for the bargin bucket
To be honest as a big fan of fps and ww2 in particular. I would recommend that anyone who plans to buy this game to consider medical help. It is v pants from the potato headed charater who informs you the germans are comming in the start of the game it just goes down hill. The historical context of the game is so poor, to the extent that one of the officers that you are reminded you can play with has a corparal rank to the blowing up tigers with a tommy cooker (sherman) The concept itself feels appealing until it loads up. why can’t all three climb ropes they are ment to be the best of the best or something. To be honest i would rate this game 0 zero stars but unfortunately there is not that option. spend you pennies on COD 2 or 4 or consider waiting till later in 2008 when some good FPS are ment to be coming out A definate bargin bucket game
Customer Review: Hour of Victory
This game starts off promisingly, but it seems that the programmers got bored of creating the game halfway through. Once you reach Berlin, the game becomes frustrating as you try and navigate through the ruined streets, at which point I became really bored. If you are contemplating buying this game don’t bother, buy Call of Duty 2 or better still buy yourself Call of Duty 4.

Neo Se Advanced Controller (Xbox 360) Customer Review: the worst replica controller available
ok, so ive been through a few controllers in my time. Enough said. I bough this from virgin for about the same price as on this site, i have to say it is abvsolute rubbish. The build quality is cheap, it feels too small and the button layout is not anywhere near as good as the official one. Start and back are inaccessible when playing and the triggers and so spring loaded that you have to pull them all the way in to start shooting. The axis sticks are very poor and unresponsive also mine sticks in the up-right position. Very poor, never buying this crap again.
Customer Review: Cheaper, but noticeably worse than the official controller.
I wanted an extra controller for when playing with buddies at home. Since this only happens occasionally, I didn’t want to spend more money than necessary. For the purpose of this review I will compare with the official controller.

Overall feel and design - sits well in my hands, and feels comfortable in general. I don’t like the placement of the back/start buttons though, as it feels a bit awkward reaching them. Still, there is less risk of pressing them by accident like this.

Buttons - feel a bit hard, which is not necessarily a bad thing. I suspect that button-mashing games will make your fingers hurt though. Sensitivy is on par with the official controller.

D-pad - this actually feels more precise. I always had a wee bit of problems with the official D-pad, and especially the diagonals feel imprecise. This one’s better, and should be good for fighting games.

Triggers - firmer and with more resistance than the official controller. Neither better nor worse for any practical purpose. With driving games I actually think it’s easier to maintain exactly the right level of acceleration. If you need to repeatedly press the triggers fast, they can feel a little too tough.

Analog sticks - these feel flip-floppy, imprecise, and not that analog. They are too soft, and movement often becomes all-or-nothing. On shooters this can be compensated by turning overall sensitivity down, and it’s ok. But play any game which recquires precise sequences of movements (trick games, driving, FNR3) and it becomes a major pain. It is a noticeable handicap playing with this controller, which is not how I want my coop or vs games at home.

Conclusions - if a good D-pad is crucial for you, to the point of not caring that much about the sticks, buy it at good value. Otherwise, wait until you can afford a better controller, or you will regret your buy like I did.

Customer Review: almost made it,but some fatal flaws ruin this game
monster madness is about 4 teenagers who are trying to survive a monster epidemic.the chracters are good together and voice acts are good.there is also a good selection of monsters and weapons.but the graphics are a huge letdown for the Xbox360! they are like a ps2 game!.also the controls are fiddly and the mini missions are really really boring, also once you finish it,there is no repetive value and the ending is rubbish.overall this could have been an excellent game, but the 2001 graphics and short lived life destroy what could have been a great game

Customer Review: Genius game, techy graphics
I bought this game a week ago, and being an avid gamer I can easily say this is one of the best games I’ve played in a while. The system of linking your stunts together by getting close to objects and doing the jumps and spins in between is marvellous. The game offers a variety of levels with different vehicles. The construct is also a brilliant feature just as they had in the first Stuntman. The graphics are okay, it makes up for the gameplay. Explosions can be a bit naff and most objects are boxy looking but the gameplay is marvellous. The scoring system is amazing the only way to get a 5 Star ranking is to link all your stunts together without letting the points being added to your score until the end, and if your a perfectionist like me you will find this a lot of fun! Overall this is a game you should buy if it’s there and under ?25 and definitly a game to go out of your way for to get.
Customer Review: Great game
Play as a stuntman doing great stunts for movies its amazing. The Graphics are brilliant - I love the way the roads sparkles so realisticlly! I love the easy gameplay and the way the cars and motorbikes turn easily at the flick of a button! Its a brilliant game, and I recommend it to anyone. I love it!

Customer Review: Couldn’t be simpler
I too will add weight to the other reviews, this item is the easiest wireless device you’ll ever set up! You literlally fit it to the back of the Xbox with a ‘click’, plug in the USB lead to the port on the back and then under network settings on the dashboard change your connectivity to Wireless. Let your router do the rest. If your router is RIGHT NEXT to your xbox, stick with the ethernet cable because this gadget for all its marvel is still pretty expensive. However, if like me, you just moved house and found your xbox is now at the opposite end of the room from your phone socket and router - and the cable won’t stretch, then this is the way forward. The only reason I give this 4/5 as opposed to 5/5 is the price.
Customer Review: Excellent product but you may have installation problems
Ok, the price gets 1 star. There should be no reason for the price tag. however, as you should expect from Microsoft, it is reliable and works a treat … once you get it up and running. Personally, I had a nighmare time of it which nearly killed me yesterday evening installing it but not the fault of the hardware itself but other factors like creating a Windows Live ID and Gamer Tag, which I did not have already. My bad experience involved getting assistance from 360 Technical Support for a good couple of hours. Firstly, once you connect the adapter you have to put it through an initial network test. There are several separate tests that it goes through. Depending on your network settings you may pass all or fail. Mine failed with MTU settings. This meant i had to increase the MTU data transfer settings for my Netgear Rangemax router. Once I had overcome that I needed to create a Windows Live ID account. Then a Gamer Tag. Then encountered another problem when it came to entering my Gold Live subscription. For some reason, my location kept being automatically detected as living in the United States. I live in UK. Restarted over a couple of time tweaking Network settings on the console dashboeard but with no success. This was when I called Tech Support. It’s a good thing that support was open until 10:00 pm and the guy was very, very helpful and patient! To cut a long story short, and after trying several workarounds, he guided me through setting up a free Hotmail email address verifying my location as UK based. We then went back and created a Gamer Tag etc … and when I got to the part that verified my location it automatically showed as United Kingdom. From there onwards it was simple and everything fell into place. The adapter works faultlessly (fingers crossed)so the kit itself is reliable but the initial process can possibly confound you.

Customer Review: Top Gear!!
I was a huge fan of Metropolis Street Racer on the Dreamcast, so when I found out that PGR3 was in the pipeline I was excited, VERY excited! MSR was unique in the way you were awarded for how you drove, not how fast you drove. PGR3 is everything MSR was and so much more. Everything about this game oozes class. Graphically it’s gorgeous! everything from the hands on Big Bens clock face to the gravel on Las Vegas strip is beautiful but it’s the gameplay where this game excels. You are actually awarded for how you drive fast, not how fast you drive, and thats what makes this game so brilliantly unique. Drifting your Ferrari around a 90 degree bend and leaving the pack in your own tyre smoke, breathtaking!

Assassin’s Creed (Xbox 360)
It’s easy to see why there was so much fighting amongst the console manufacturers to try and make this game a format exclusive. Where early launch titles may have disappointed this game not only looks like a next generation game but it plays like it too. Taken at face value the story casts you as an Arabic fighter in 1191, out to assassinate the nine Western leaders of the Third Crusade. There is more to the story than that though making it more than simple historical adventure it first seems.

Since it’s developed by many of the same team behind Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, it’s no surprise to find the game using many of the same ideas. With the bold claim that you can climb on or over anything in the game world that sticks out more than two inches, this allows incredible freedom of movement, with a style of acrobatics heavily influenced by Parkour/free running. The game also innovates in terms of combat, with each of the face buttons controlling a different area of the body, rather like a marionette. As such one button controls the feet, one your open hand, one your weapon hand and the other your head.

As an assassin stealth plays an important role in the game too, but here it’s often a case of hiding in plain sight as you mill around inside large crowds of people. Everyone will react to you realistically though, so if you go around pushing people out of the way, or even killing them, the crowd will react and report you. With stunning graphics and genuinely innovative gameplay this is destined to be one of the most important releases of the year.

Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy (Xbox 360)

Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy (Xbox 360)
In a nutshell:
The surprise hit of 2005 is back and this time it’s moved on from the prequels and onto “proper” Star Wars. It may sound like one of the worst excesses of marketing hell but this is good enough to rejuvenate your love for both video games and Star Wars (and Lego)!

The lowdown:
As ridiculous as the idea sounds this is one of the few games that really can be played by all ages, from tots to grandparents - the game even adjusts its difficultly level on the fly depending how well you’re doing. The graphics are absolutely hilarious as the game pokes gentle fun at all the films and characters and uses the Lego motif so you can build new structures and objects as you go. With more playable characters than ever each now has their own special move, such as Chewbacca’s ability to pull the arms off Stormtroopers, and you can get in and out of vehicles whenever you want in some levels.

Most exciting moment:
The game features a large number of vehicles to drive, including landspeeders and AT-STs. You can also ride a Dewback which excretes an ominous looking brown Lego stud if you press a button…

Since you ask:
The all important two player co-op mode from the first game is still in the sequel, plus you can now design your own characters out of component Lego pieces. Darth Greedo, anyone?

The bottom line:
The Force is strong with this one.

Customer Review: Don’t be a cynic - play it!!
Ok.. so this game sounds childish and silly - just for 3 years olds right? Wrong.

I am 28 and my partner is 29 and we are addicted. Its brilliant!! It takes aaages to get all the achievment points and there’s just tons of super fun game play here. It’s not too easy (I was worried that it might be) and its not too hard.

Positives: The amount of characters, levels, ships, minigames and the sheer fun value you get out of this game, whether playing it alone or in co-op mode. The star wars lego cut-scenes are hilarious!

Negatives: not many to be honest.. depth perception can be difficult. Sometimes the camera angles can be awkward. In co-op mode you cannot sign in with a second profile and unlock the achievements for both. Only player one will get the credit. The levels with the ships can be a bit chaotic…

All in all this is just brilliant, I was really surprised.

Customer Review: Fun to play…Incredibly Frustrating To Save!
I like this game a lot. It’s a laugh to play as you go through the various famous Star Wars scenes and stuff as a Lego character (the Lego Boombox that blasts out a heavy metal version of the Imperial March, making Gamorrean guards rock out is one of the best things I’ve seen!) However, I find trying to save your progress in this game EXTREMELY frustrating! For some reason when you clear a chapter and your autosave kicks in, it doesn’t save your progress properly and you end up right back at the Mos Eisley cantina when you reload your game. Not cool.

I plan to keep playing this game and figure out what’s going wrong, but that in itself is something no gamer should have to do. In short, great game, LOUSY saving system!

Customer Review: No Problems - Excellent
I bought my 360 Elite on 27/12/07, and so far have had absolutely no problems whatsoever with it. I’m completely satisfied with it. It might be a little noisier than other consoles I’ve owned, but no more than the average home PC, and when you consider the similarities between the two, it’s easy to dismiss the noise. Besides, it’s not jet-engine loud, it’s more of a low hum. I work for an electrical goods store, and the Premium model we have running on our display there has been there since the day the console was first released, and that has not developed any problems either. The thing both these machines have in common is that they are given plenty of room to breathe, and by that I don’t mean “make sure you don’t stack other electrical devices on top of it”, I mean they both have a lot of clear space around the intakes. One of the technicians I’ve spoken to reckons the majority of the time he examines a machine with the Red Ring Of Death, the guts of the machine come out looking like ashtrays. Is that Microsoft’s fault? No. Do NOT smoke around electrical devices. Especially not ones that have fans designed to draw in cool, smoke-free air. You are just asking for trouble, even when you consider the fact that Microsoft now has a 3 year instant replacement policy in place from date of purchase. Treat your machine like the piece of specialised equipment it is, and you should be fine.
Customer Review: it aint that good
There are better things to do with your money than buy this piece of junk. Playstation 3 springs to mind. This will be the year for the playstation to rise from the ashes. The console was not well thought out and was rushed to the shelves to take advantage of th gap in the market.

Customer Review: I think it’s quite a good game, actually…
Basically, the game is ok. It’s a marked improvement over the last one, but mostly gameplay-wise. The fusion attacks are pretty nice and work well against large groups of enemies (what they were made for anyway). Everything looks pretty good, but mostly the character models and cutscenes. The campaign is fairly leghty and will keep you entertained for quite a while. The ability to play as all 4 at any given time is a big plus, not to mention, more abilities for each of the four. While the thing is useful for just smashing through enemies, the human torch requires more skill with the fireballs and stuff, Mr. Fantastic is fun to use sometimes, with those stretchy attacks, and the Invisible Woman is fun to sneak past people and use psychic attacks. There are some bad points, which the other reviewers have pointed out. It’ not worth the ?30, but definately worth a look at under ?20, especially if you’re a fan of the movie or comics.
Customer Review: really, really… lame.
What a lame game. It has everything a game shouldn’t have. Real bad aesthetics, unballanced characters (one can play only with “Thing”, as it’s by far the most powerfull), the worst sound implementation, you name it… The whole game looks bland, pushed into the shelfs like some sadistic ritual, to mess with comix fans. A good point though, it’s short, very short. tip: you can play it with one hand, just keep doing the Thing’s wave attack…

Customer Review: Saved by a webline?
After a relatively reasonable outing in Spiderman 2 I had high hopes for a greatly improved 3rd outing which would improve on all of the shortcomings of the first. However this is not to be as this game has actually managed to include more annoyances and general bad design than the previous. It seems to be an impossibility for any Spiderman game to do interior wall crawling levels without an extremely jerky and unhelpful camera making it impossible to navigate and this is one of the worst. I seem to remember a relatively decent attempt in the very first Spiderman 3D iteration on the original Playstation but this is definitely the worst. Not to mention that several of the levels actually occur inside small areas (saving people from a fire being a memorably poor one) and suddenly it no longer feels like your controlling a superhero as you end up jumping straight into flames and getting stuck in corners. This wouldn’t be so bad if the combat was reasonable. For the most part it’s passable and using midair juggles to keep about five characters airborn is certainly entertaining. However when in a fist fight against certain bosses (Kingpin step right up) it turns into an exercise of sheer patience as what feels like an hour is spent whittling down a seemingly never ending energy bar with the same 2 button press sequence. There are now Quicktime cut-sequences which are basically God of War/Shenmue esque tests of reaction time whilst amazing spidey-villain fights are on screen. These are nothing special and in some cases (punching a chandelier three times…????!?!) are just exercises in selecting “continue” and watching the same unskippable cutscene for the 50th time. HOWEVER… this would be a completely dire game if it wasn’t for the amazing web-slinging in the game. Swinging through the streets of a much larger New York city in glorious 360 graphics is fantastic (and quite a relaxing post work way to spend half an hour.) As superhero games go this is the closest that I’ve ever found to actually feeling in full control of the superhero. Slightly tweaked over Spidey 2’s swing mechanic it takes a while to get used to but is soon completely intuitive. Any gamer who has no interest in Spiderman will be hard pushed for any reason to buy this game but Spidey fans will want to at least take a look, if only for the swing mechanics (and a semi-reasonable boss fight with The Lizard.)

i loved this game at the start then it seemed to get worse its hard i know hard is good but its so hard its frustrating and it makes the game un-fun

Perfect Dark Zero (Xbox 360)
In a nutshell:
Her name’s Dark, Jo Dark. And this is the story of how England’s female super agent became who she is, from humble beginnings as gun-for-hire to premier league spy. When a straightforward corporate snatch mission leads to a global conspiracy, Joanna Dark and her father get sucked into a world conflict invisible to the public setting Jo on her path to becoming a Perfect Agent.

The lowdown:
Yes, you’ll get to shoot a lot of bad guys with weapons ranging from good old sniper rifles to silenced weapons to the RCP-90, nostalgic automatic weapon of choice for fans of Nintendo 64 classic Goldeneye, also from British developer Rare. Although the graphics aren’t looking as impressive as some other Xbox 360 launch titles, you have to try it to appreciate its subtlety – Perfect Dark feels great to play.

Most exciting moment:
Co-operative modes are becoming increasingly commonplace, but Perfect Dark takes things to the next level by introducing a new character and often wholly separate paths through the game’s intricately constructed maps.

Since you ask:
After creating masterpieces from Goldeneye to platform game legend Banjo Kazooie in partnership with Nintendo, developer Rare was snapped up by Microsoft to work exclusively on Xbox.

The bottom line:
Shaping up to be the shining star of Xbox 360’s launch line-up.

Customer Review: poor poor shoddy game
This game is abysmal. I bought it because at the time (this was before Halo 3) I was looking for a multiplayer (single console) first person shooter and this seemed to be the only option… The multiplayer is shoddy, there is no fun to it… or skill for that matter, it becomes obvious within the first seconds of turning this game on that the developers at Rare that produced Goldeneye and Perfect Dark on the N64 are long gone, both the previous games were and still are fun and great to play… This however is not, its boring, uninvolving and frankly a bit of a mess, it looks and feels like a beta version before a games tester has come anywhere near it, if I had tested this game I would have beeged and pleaded Rare not to release this. A good single player game in my opinion is one that pulls you in and makes you play for hours when you thought you would just play for 5 minutes, there are now many examples of geat single player games on this console, Assassins Creed, Halo 3, Crackdown, Dead Rising… even Kameo completely walks all over this abysmal mess of a game. I don’t care about Joanna Dark in fact when she dies in the game I feel like laughing, I try playing the missions and after the first minute I wish that I hadn’t bothered the only reason I go on to complete the missions is so I can take the disc out and put in anything… ANYTHING else. There may be many different aspects to the missions, but frankly that does not mean anything if they are all executed so poorly that you would rather repeatedly shove a needle in your eye than play them… It ultimately feels rushed and I get the feeling that Microsoft may have been desperate for a big name at release but there is no excuse for this. I know it also received rave reviews from certain magazines and people but I get the feeling that its people trying to get behind the xbox360 and support the release games, but come on now its been long enough we have enough great games to admit that our big release game was an abomination. There are worse games I’m certain, I just really struggle to think of any…
Customer Review: underrated gem
Fantastic multiplayer will keep you playing for months Really varied single player (including split screen co-op and co-op over live).

Customer Review: Very helpful
I don’t usually buy guides but i liked the game so much that i wanted to make sure i’ve completed and found everything and without this book (plus the bethesda forum) I never would have been able to do that. This guide is very detailed and i recommend it to anyone that has the game.
Customer Review: One of the best game guides i’ve ever purchased!!!
The book is huge, it must be like 300 pages long.It is really helpful,it tells you all about stats to begin with but then about 60 pages in it starts to talk about the main quest. After that it tells you how to complete all the other quests(guild quests, freeform quests…).This book is really helpful, if you are stuck on Oblivion you need to get this.Essential.

Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia (Xbox 360) Customer Review: almost made it,but some fatal flaws ruin this game
monster madness is about 4 teenagers who are trying to survive a monster epidemic.the chracters are good together and voice acts are good.there is also a good selection of monsters and weapons.but the graphics are a huge letdown for the Xbox360! they are like a ps2 game!.also the controls are fiddly and the mini missions are really really boring, also once you finish it,there is no repetive value and the ending is rubbish.overall this could have been an excellent game, but the 2001 graphics and short lived life destroy what could have been a great game

Customer Review: Brilliant
Its the amount of detail in this game that makes it brilliant.

Loads of tracks and challenges.

Great split screen and online racing and able to compare times against online friends.

Slightly harder to get the hang of, than car racing games, but worth the extra effort.

Customer Review: a must have for motor racing fans
when I brought this game I wasnt sure what to expect, However I urge any one to buy this game. The last motorcycle game I ever played was manx TT (sega saturn) and super hang on (sega megadrive)so it has been a while since I played anything like this. So when I played this game it did not disapoint at all. graphics are superb, gameplay can be difficult to master give it a few races you will soon be a valentino rossi. Beating your lap times is always good, the fact you get time penalties for going off the course adds to the fun factor, in my opinion anyway. The game is availiable on xbox live what more can you ask for? Aside from the gp side, you have street racing which can be intense. I suppose a bit more choice of bikes could be better.

I hope they will bring another one out, as the chances of getting a decent formula one game is very slim. The game has really got me into motorbikes, dont know if that is good thing, the best two wheel game you will play for quite a time.

buy this item it will save money. buying batteries everytime your controller runs out of battery it is contributing to global warming so i reccoment this item it is economical and ecological.
Customer Review: Takes Forever!
While this is very handy if you don’t have more than one battery, or a wired controller, but if you do then it’s not very convenient, the reason being it takes absolutely ages to recharge the battery, we are talking hours upon hours and you’ll spend about quarter of your Xbox 360 gaming life effectively playing a wired controller. Sometimes it even keeps the console on even when you switch the unit off and carries on recharging, not something you want to do leaving your console whirring away all day if you have to go out to work. The best thing is to have the quick charge unit, there is no comparison, that thing is rapid, and can recharge a battery in around an hour or so, so if you have a spare battery you can alternate the two and get your backup done again in no time without ever using wires, or failing that if you have a regular wired controller, use that while you quickly recharge the battery in the quickcharge unit for an hour. The plus point is it’s only three quid more than the battery on its own but frankly if you have a quickcharge unit you won’t use it again after the first experience because it just takes so long.
