monster madness is about 4 teenagers who are trying to survive a monster epidemic.the chracters are good together and voice acts are good.there is also a good selection of monsters and weapons.but the graphics are a huge letdown for the Xbox360! they are like a ps2 game!.also the controls are fiddly and the mini missions are really really boring,also once you finish it,there is no repetive value and the ending is rubbish.overall this could have been an excellent game,but the 2001 graphics and short lived life destroy what could have been a great game

I ordered this product yesterday midday and was amazed that I recieved it lunchtime today.So far am impressed by the sound of these speakers both from my PC and XBOX 360.My main reason for purchasing this is my lg moniter w/s (1440 960 DVI and vga inputs) has no inbuilt speaker system and I run my pc and xbox 360(vga adapter) through it.My pc sounds fine through this system and the xbox 360 sound blew me away(just tryed G.O.W. sofar).I highly recommend this purchase if you have a similar setup to mine or want great sound from your xbox 360.The system is also well designed and stylish silver and black goes with my moniter nicerly

Microsoft must be reading my mind. I have been moaning EVERY time I need to title a saved game image or type a message to a fellow gamer. I did use a USB keyboard for a bit, but it’s too awkward and takes too much space. This messenger kit keyboard is a work of art. I just held it in my hand for the first half hour marveling at the design. Once it’s fitted to the 360 controller it’s even better. It fits so well that you would believe it’s always been there. It is so easy to use, does not get in the way and it always there when you need it. No more excuses for leaving the default ambiguous names for files. I would buy another, but that would be just silly

Skate (Xbox 360) Customer Review: Brilliance
Bought this game a few months ago. I keep thinking I’m going to get bored of it, but with each session I love it even more. This is because of the way the game is layed out. The more you play the game, the better you get at it and therefore the more fun you have whilst playing it.

The Career mode is not outrageous like the Tony Hawks franchise, no whacky levels like a boat or a airport with weird half pipes everywhere. You skate around what you can find, such as a curb or a bus stop.

The controls were a bit weird at first. Having played Tony Hawks for years it took me a while to stop pressing ‘A’ to jump, but once I had got used to the controls it was fine, and I’m still finding new ways to do things.

Some people complain about the camera angle, and how sometimes you can’t see what you are doing. This is true, however it is very occasional and I think you will find with any game the camera annoys to a certain extent.

Overall this game is by far the best skating game I’ve ever played and I would seriously reccomend it. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to play Tony Hawks again… Sorry Tony.

SKATE is like no other, a real SIMULATION for skateboarding lovers world over. It may seem quite tricky at first, but the tutorials are clear and constructive paving the way for you to become a great e-skater. One of the most rewarding games i have ever experienced, skate just keeps on giving. I log in to carry on with career mode, and two hours later i realise that i have just been free skating and haven’t accomplished anything, yet it still feels good. Gone are the arcade style tricks of TH and the unrealism, Skate IS skateboarding.

The graphics are immense, long sharp shadows cast over high resolution textures make this game EYE CANDY, so when you do a good trick…you even say to yourself ‘damn that was sexy’. Controls really make the game, as mentioned in countless reviews the flick-it system is simply brilliant and innovative and i want to shake the guys (or girls) hand that came up with this great idea. The soundtrack pumps you up, the Menu is slick and flawless and QUICK! I can’t Big this game up enough, if you are staring at it wondering ‘hhhhmm should i buy’ or thinking of choosing TH proving ground/project 8 over this, let me tell you this…BUY SKATE! you will not look back! And you will wonder to yourself how you lived without it.

What can i say for this game? That it constantly surprises me at every turn? the graphics and sound are second to none? Whatever you think, these statements are true.

Though Crackdown has no paticular story, it makes up for that with intense action and non-stop thrills. The array of guns were unparalled by none. One minute you are eating a Subway sandwich in the park, and the next you are waging terrible war with bloodthirsty criminals!

To put it simply, Crackdown is simply astonishing. The freeform jumping and chasing sequences are bound to exhilerate even the most boring of people. If you are hesitating to buy this game, i order you not to, or you will never find the apparent “perfect game”

I would say the humor in this game is very funny, orignal fun jokes. The gameplay is frustrating, playing the same part over and over again. The camera is awful. It hard to recommend this game, the humor is good but i was finding myself too annoyed with the game to enjoy it.

Lost Planet: Extreme Condition (Limited Edition Steel Case) (Xbox 360)
With the Xbox 360 still selling like two week old sushi in Japan, Capcom remains Microsoft’s biggest supporter from the land of the rising uppercut. Realising there’s no point trying to appeal to the local market their games so far have all been very much Western in style, as exemplified by the well-received Dead Rising. This was intended as a third person take on Halo and even though the similarities are ultimately minor it’s still one of the 360’s best action games. Like most Capcom games the story (and particularly dialogue and voiceovers) is not one of the game’s best features, but thankfully there’s not much that needs explaining when you’re fighting monster bugs and giant robot riding snow pirates.

Like Halo you can have only two weapons at a time and use a recharging shield. This though is powered by an always decreasing supply of thermal energy, topped up from defeated enemies. Apart from this the only other piece of gadgetry you have to help you is a grappling hook, although it remains largely underused in the single player campaign. The various mechs you can commandeer are a great deal of fun though, with different variants being able to jump, hover or transform into vehicles. Graphically the game is excellent, with some awesomely large Starship Troopers style bugs and possibly the best explosions ever in gaming.

Where the game gets into trouble is the brevity of the single player campaign. Although this is compensated by the online multiplayer mode, even that cannot overcome the game’s innate simplicity. Complexity, or even longevity, is not what this game is about though and in terms of offering plenty of big dumb fun it succeeds admirably.

Customer Review: Lost Planet One of The Best Yet
Lost Planet is one of the best Xbox 360 games to have come out with great visuals, good game play and a multiplayer to rival most on the 360. The single player campaign is were the only real problem with this game lies you really can’t quite tell what is going on and the cut scenes provide little incite into what is going on, you can sort of tell what the main story is but there is a lot left untold. Apart from this problem the single player is deep and addictive and fun to play it is a little hard at times but the levels are fun to play can the amount that is going on is amazing all with no lagg!

The other half of the game is represented by a fun, deep and brilliant multiplayer game mode. You can play up to 24 players on line on about 15 different levels with more soon to be added. The vital suites work well with the multi player and add a lot of fun to it. There are 4 different game types. There is death match, team death match, elimination & team elimination. There all fun and addictive and make this one of the best multi player games on the 360.

One of the best things about Lost Planet is that there is almost no lagg infact I have not come along any since I have been playing and this makes the game more believable and keeps u locked on what is going on.

The limited addition is worth the money by far, with a cool limited addition cover and an art book as well. There is also a pc disk that comes with it that has art work, wallpapers, avatars & a window media player theme witch is really good.

All in all Lost Planet is a great game and well worth your attention. The one player is not as good as the other 3rd person shooters that are available but the multi player smokes the competition.

Okay… Giving all of the little problems and good points. 1. The faceplates are relatively good quality, depite being normal faceplates that have been re-sprayed. 2. Some of the paint gets chipped. Although this isnt a problem when at a distance, you can notice up close. 3. The “On” button. This annoyed me. If you lokk at it from the inside, the plastic is much thinner, and this causes the light from the “On” button to seep through, giving a crummy appearence. (This can be solved with a delicate lick of black paint on the back). 4. Mine arrived broken. Be warned! Although this was not a serious problem, those without the correct equipment, or even skills, could be left hopeless! The large flap on the bottom of the faceplate (which you insert USB’s) came loose in its box. The hinge and the “Plate” to hold it on had come off. This needed to be superglued and held in place for 10 minutes each before it could be used! Those without the correct equipment or the know-how to make it stay in place will be snookered! 5. Over-all I’ve enjoyed using these plates. All three came in handy (Silver to match the TV, Black to match the mat underneath, and Desert Camo for me!)… Enjoy!

Just Cause (Xbox 360)
In a nutshell:
Grand Theft Auto might give you the freedom of a whole city or county but in Just Cause you’ve got the task of overthrowing a 250,000 acre island all on your lonesome in the world’s first Che Guevara simulator.

The lowdown:
Taking inspiration not just from Grand Theft Auto but also Mercenaries and old Amiga classic Midwinter you play CIA black ops agent Rico Rodriguez as he attempts to overthrow the evil dictator of the fictional island of San Esperito. Despite the huge island and the complete freedom of movement you have on it the game actually only has 21 story missions. There are over 300 side missions but it quickly becomes obvious that these fall into only a very small number of different styles, not all of which are all that entertaining. What makes the game fun though is just wandering off and doing your own thing, which invariably involves upsetting the local military or drug lords and instigating a massive, impromptu firefight. The game may lack depth and variety but it offers a freedom to explore and cause chaos that few others can rival.

Most exciting moment:
As impractical as it may seem you’ve always got a grappling hook and a parachute, which allows you to lock onto any vehicle and commandeer it whenever you want. It also lets you perform some utterly outrageous stunts as you parasail behind boats and jump from a moving aircraft straight onto a road convoy miles below you.

Since you ask:
Instead of storing the island of San Esperito as a gigantic map the game uses a new technique called procedural synthesis to create the landscape on the fly. This is the only way to make such large scale graphics work on the PS2, especially when you’re flying miles above the island.

The bottom line:
Che Guevara meets James Bond in this shallow but satisfying sandbox game.

Customer Review: big game, big fun
I first got this game when it came out and got it as part of my xbox 360 package. Although I liked the game I decided to trade the game in after 2 weeks as I only had this and PGR3, I really wanted TDU at that time. Then after about 5 games later I started to get cravings for Just cause after seeing various reviews etc on it and decided to buy it back for ?18. Now that I fully understand the gamer points system and have got used to the xbox 360 controls properly I have found the game a lot better than the first time I played it.

I decided to take my time and not just fly through all the missions, this makes the game a lot more fun as you discover hidden volcano’s and varous citys and settlements etc.

The graphics are very good and you easily get sucked into the beauty of the landscape (you can almost feel the warmth of the sun and sea etc). Every time I play it I find new stuff to do, new vehicles to use from cars boats and planes. The weather changes as you fly around the island and you can be blown about abit during storms adding to the adventure, this list just goes on and on. You have to play it a bit differently from GTA games in that some of the cars are easy to loose control of but then when you do have an accident the police are fun to defeat and also good fun to run from.

On the down side there are a few glitches and the cars are not in top detail compared with the scenery. But this is a small price to pay for such a big game and hardly ever spoil any fun.

In reflection I think that this game for the money it can now bought for is a bargin and I’m pleased to have it back in my collection once again

For the first day or so, it is quite entertaining, just being able to freely fly, drive or parachute around but after a while it gets really boring because all the cars are old bangers and the map is basically just trees so its the same everywhere and also the missions are all pretty much the same dispite it saying theres side missions, main missions and liberations which are all the same. a really annoying thing is the way he runs which is really spastic and he is constantly wheezing and his highj heels are always clicking its really annoying after a while. The game is really un realistic such as you being able to jump out of a helicopter or a plane at the highest point and hold on to the back of it, steer it while out there then jumping forward and landing inside it again!!!!!

I say don’t buy it its poor quality. also take a look at how many are up the for sale (35 when i last looked) and you should take a hint from that

Do not buy. The microphone is useless, and the speakers quality is terrible. I couldn’t even get the mic to be heard unless shouted into! Whatever you do, do not buy it!
Customer Review: don’t waste your money
I bought this as an alternative to my headset, This thing is useless for the following reasons: 1) The speaker constantly buzzes. 2) You have to hold a button whenever you want to talk. 3) you cannot talk/listen at the same time, when you hold the button to talk, it cuts the speaker. 4) other people cannot understand you, all they can hear is buzzing. 5) You can just get a wired/wireless headset. 6) It drains battery very quickly DO NOT BUY!

Yea this game is wicked in loads of ways! Campaign is fun and challenging, and deathmaches are awesome with the levels and the variants - even if you don’t have XBOX Live. The graphics and detail of the game are really good too. This limited edition version comes with a disk which as a free skin for your XBOX Guide, some art and a song.

This was the first game I got when I bought my XBOX 360 and it was well worth buying!
