Customer Review: just stay positive!
people are so dissapointed because its the end of the series, or is it?

a). master chief doesnt die in halo 3, he just goes into a cyrotube, his last words were “wake me when you need me” dont skip the credits, wait till the end of the credits, then the scene will come.

b). halo is a great series so bungie wont end it, they’ll lose millions of dollars.

c). people arent staying positive, just stay positive, bungie will definetely make halo 4.

d). halo wars is coming out soon so it might not be the end of the fight.

Customer Review: Utter Rubbish
I didn’t want to give this game 1 star. That was the lowest option it would reach to. Microsoft have not done anything different with any of the halo games which other games havent covered before. This game takes very little skill to play and it isn’t interesting and totally unrealistic. This was generally a very overated first person shooter. The storyline is badly written and boring and impossible to get into, the gameplay was below average and the multiplayer dull. For the best experience in gaming play on Call of Duty 4. By far the best first person shooter out at the moment.

ALL HAIL THE PLAYSTATION 3!!!!!!

Perfect Dark Zero (Xbox 360)
In a nutshell:
Her name’s Dark, Jo Dark. And this is the story of how England’s female super agent became who she is, from humble beginnings as gun-for-hire to premier league spy. When a straightforward corporate snatch mission leads to a global conspiracy, Joanna Dark and her father get sucked into a world conflict invisible to the public setting Jo on her path to becoming a Perfect Agent.

The lowdown:
Yes, you’ll get to shoot a lot of bad guys with weapons ranging from good old sniper rifles to silenced weapons to the RCP-90, nostalgic automatic weapon of choice for fans of Nintendo 64 classic Goldeneye, also from British developer Rare. Although the graphics aren’t looking as impressive as some other Xbox 360 launch titles, you have to try it to appreciate its subtlety – Perfect Dark feels great to play.

Most exciting moment:
Co-operative modes are becoming increasingly commonplace, but Perfect Dark takes things to the next level by introducing a new character and often wholly separate paths through the game’s intricately constructed maps.

Since you ask:
After creating masterpieces from Goldeneye to platform game legend Banjo Kazooie in partnership with Nintendo, developer Rare was snapped up by Microsoft to work exclusively on Xbox.

The bottom line:
Shaping up to be the shining star of Xbox 360’s launch line-up.
Nick Gillett

Customer Review: poor poor shoddy game
This game is abysmal. I bought it because at the time (this was before Halo 3) I was looking for a multiplayer (single console) first person shooter and this seemed to be the only option… The multiplayer is shoddy, there is no fun to it… or skill for that matter, it becomes obvious within the first seconds of turning this game on that the developers at Rare that produced Goldeneye and Perfect Dark on the N64 are long gone, both the previous games were and still are fun and great to play… This however is not, its boring, uninvolving and frankly a bit of a mess, it looks and feels like a beta version before a games tester has come anywhere near it, if I had tested this game I would have beeged and pleaded Rare not to release this. A good single player game in my opinion is one that pulls you in and makes you play for hours when you thought you would just play for 5 minutes, there are now many examples of geat single player games on this console, Assassins Creed, Halo 3, Crackdown, Dead Rising… even Kameo completely walks all over this abysmal mess of a game. I don’t care about Joanna Dark in fact when she dies in the game I feel like laughing, I try playing the missions and after the first minute I wish that I hadn’t bothered the only reason I go on to complete the missions is so I can take the disc out and put in anything… ANYTHING else. There may be many different aspects to the missions, but frankly that does not mean anything if they are all executed so poorly that you would rather repeatedly shove a needle in your eye than play them… It ultimately feels rushed and I get the feeling that Microsoft may have been desperate for a big name at release but there is no excuse for this. I know it also received rave reviews from certain magazines and people but I get the feeling that its people trying to get behind the xbox360 and support the release games, but come on now its been long enough we have enough great games to admit that our big release game was an abomination. There are worse games I’m certain, I just really struggle to think of any…
Customer Review: underrated gem
Fantastic multiplayer will keep you playing for months Really varied single player (including split screen co-op and co-op over live).

Xbox Live 12 month Gold Membership Card
Xbox Live is an online multiplayer gaming and content delivery system that allows registered users to create their own friends list of other users, and communicate with them via a mail-like system of either text or voice messages which can even be used to send a message to an offline user. With the new Xbox Live Vision camera, users can also send snapshot images to offline friends or video conference with them when they?re online. With the launch of the Xbox 360, Xbox Live went through a major change. The most notable change is the establishment of two subscription types, called Silver and Gold. Xbox Live Silver is free to all Xbox 360 owners. While it does not allow access to online play, it still has access to other Xbox Live features such as the friends list, messages, and the Xbox Live Marketplace. Xbox Live Gold, which requires a monthly or yearly subscription fee, allows users to access all available features on Xbox Live. Although there are no parental controls available in Xbox Live, any reports of misuse of the service for criminal or sexual purposes results in a permanent ban of the account. Key Features: Xbox Live has a number of great community-focused features and benefits such as: Gamertags - for user identification Avatars - gamer pictures for association with gamer tags Mottos - for display on gamer profiles Gamer zones - which represents your gaming style and influences player matchmaking (Recreation, Pro, Family, Underground) Game achievements - shows how well you and your friends are doing in a game Reputation rating - voted on by other players who decide to either prefer or avoid another player Gamerscores - a total of a player’s achievement points Friends list - a list of a player’s chosen friends Recent player list - lists the last 50 players one user has played with Xbox Live Marketplace content - download demos, trailers, new and retro games Multiplayer online gameplay - play against other gamers across the globe Enhanced m

Customer Review: Not much yet, but the potential…
That this came packaged with 12 months of Xbox Live Gold membership, a few microsoft points and a couple of free XBLA games makes it an absolute bargain. When I bought this it was ?49.99, which compared to letting my current Xbox Live subscription auto renew online, meant that I was getting the camera for less than ten quid. (If you have recently renewed your membership online then simply use the voucher in the box to extend it from one to two years before you need to renew again - the same applies to any XBox Live Gold vouchers) Keeping this short and sweet the camera does what I expected. It’s quite small, but it didn’t need to be big and it has a nice long cable so you can find that optimum place to stand it. Picture quality is pretty good. Video chatting with “Friends” also gives you the opportunity to remove the weird looking ones from your list! (CAUTION : If you are weird looking then you may lose friends by buying this product!). The ability to take pictures of yourself and surroundings and to message your XBL Friends with them can also generate a certain degree of correspondence! Unfortunately there is not much out there that makes good use of the camera yet. The bragging rights in C&C3:Tiberium Wars and scanning your face onto your character in multiplayer Rainbow Six:Las Vegas were for me the main reasons currently for buying it (after all I’m sure we all want virtual replicas of ourselves at the wrong end of automatic weapons fire). Definitely not disappointed.
Customer Review: Bargain!!!!!
This is an absolute bargain!!! I needed to update my live and i was intrested in getting the camera anyway…. so when i saw tis i thought…. has to be a catch….. XBOX Live Vision Camera : ?30 Xbox Live 12 Month Subscription : ?35 Xbox Live Headset : ?15 Two Arcade live Games + 200 Microsoft points : about ?10 Total : ?90 And this all costs ?50!!!!!! Yes i already have a headset… but now me and a friend can both go on live one as a guest… and i have spare on incase one breaks.. and its free!!!!!! Who cares!!!! The Camera is a great piece of kit!! Easy to use and some decent features, the ability to send picture messages, change your gamercard, have video conversations, live video feed during games like Uno…. but best of all is the face mapping , seen in rainbow six vegas, which is obviously going to become a regular on up and coming games… and it works!! …. i was sceptical… i had an eyetoy for the ps2… and on tony hawks underground face mapping was available using the eyetoy… it was dreadful…. you looked like a gargoyle, or had eyes and mouths in wrong places, and was a complete waste of time!!! But this works… and is so simple… select face map.. take 2 pics (front and side) wait 30 seconds…and there you are, your face on your character and it looks brilliant!!! And it works on my laptop as a webcam too… no daft cd’s to load somthnig that you need to load another thing that you need to get it working… plug in .. select in on you c-drive and there you have it!!! The quality is great and look at the camera itself looks fantastic… i couldn’t believe the size when i got it out the box… its tiny, nothing like the HUGE stupid eye toy…. this sits nicely on the top of your xbox Xbox live is a must…. simple as that….. dont contemplate buying it… dont moan about the price….. cos with this.. your getting it free.. just say your buying a camera and a head set.. and hey, you get some free xbox live.. no worries!!! Cant reccomend this package enough, as ive said it really is a bargain!! Everything you need to enjoy the most out of your 360!!! Buy it!!!!! and send silly pictures to your friends!!!

FIFA 08 (Xbox 360)

The greatest battle of the new football season is not between any real world club but between the virtual giants of FIFA and Pro Evolution Soccer. Konami’s game has always been the favourite but last year FIFA closed the gap to such a degree that the title race has never been closer. This year’s FIFA uses a completely new game engine, for the first time built specifically for the next gen consoles. But improved graphics and animation are only the half of it, with just as much focus going on the artificial intelligence thanks to the new “35 point decision engine”. What this basically means is that every player on the pitch is fully aware of those around him and constantly thinking about tactics and position when not under your control.

Other changes include better modelled physics for taking a shot on goal, which take into account everything from air pressure to the angle of your foot. You’re also able to create your own special moves to replicate every possible trick from real life. There are also new game modes including Be A Pro which challenges you to play the role of a single player through a whole season or career. On top of this there are revamped online leagues to play a virtual season in the Premier League, Bundesliga, French League or Mexican 1st Division against real opponents. With 620 licensed teams, 30 offline leagues and 15,000 players as well FIFA might just have made enough new signings this year to put it over the top.

Customer Review: Good but RIDDLED with problems!
Had this game since Christmas and have played it quite extensivley. Completed afew season on semi-pro and found the game overall to be very very good. Multi player is also great fun. Overall a great game. HOWEVER, decided to step up to Proffessional mode as i was winning everything…things changed!! Your players become utterly stupid and unable to remember how to play football. The other teams, in changing the difficulty level up one level, become a team of Ronaldinho’s compared to the slow, non-responive players on your team. And this is not due to me being bad at the game. Your players cannot control the ball, your goalkeeper is useless and players not being controlled by yourself, their AI is useless. Against slighlty better teams it is impossible to score unless you are clear one on one with the goalkeeper and even then it is still hard to beat him. And as for free kicks…what is the point in winning one….it takes weeks to even get close to geting a free kick over the wall and even on target and a free kick from anywhere not in goal scoring distance is a waste as its impossible to pick anyone out…compared to the super skills of all AI teams, where if you concede a free kick about 10 yards out from the edge of your box…it will either curl straight in or hit the post…EVERY TIME! I have now become stupidly frustrated with this game! EA really need to work the kinks out of this for the next installment. Im a FIFA fan over ProEvo anyday but far too many niggling little things to take the enjoyment out when you become good at the game
Customer Review: Good solid football game better than pro evo
i have had this game since Christmas and it is great i have also played the pro evo game and it is not nearly as good so if you want a football game that you can play time and time again get Fifa 08
