Customer Review: The best accessory for any 360 owner
This is absolute essential if you bought a premium pack or a wireless controller. Your 360 control pad will last 30 hours on fresh AA batteries but, what you don’t want, is to be in the middle of a battle on your favourite game only for a “Please reconnect controller” message to pop up. This simple cable completely removes the need to buy batteries ever again. Your on screen battery indicator (Guide blade) will tell you when your pad is running low then you simply plug one end of the cable into an available USB port on your console and the other in the top of the controller to recharge your battery whilst playing! Simply brilliant!

the hd dvd drive has been discontinued. microsoft are looking into making a blu-ray drive so if you want a hd movie drive wait until that is released rather than buying this.
Customer Review: Have I bought a Betamax??
Got the HD player for Christmas and I am really delighted with the quality of picture/sound that it gives out. For the price you really cannot beat it, the player also upscales normal DVD’s so all my DVD’s HD or not look great! I also took adavantage of the 5 free HD DVD’s from Microsoft which is superb, 5 free DVD’s for nothing so that made the whole deal even better. The only dark cloud on the Horizon is that Toshiba are no longer going to support this format, which means that the Xbox 360 is shortly going to be the only way that you can view HD DVD’s. How many movie companies will produce HD films on this basis?? I doubt very few if any. It seems that Blue Ray is going to win out. The only way that I can see this format being saved is if the coming Xbox 360 Ultimate has the HD player bulit in (as rumoured) and there are massive sales resulting in a demand for the HD format and other HD players. Unfortunately I think it is unlikely. So in short its a great player but you may have nothing new to play on it before long!!

Customer Review: great controller
This is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a decent controller for my computer which would be durable (unlike my old one) and had 2 analogue sticks and 2 analogue triggers (very useful for driving games like need for speed). The only other one I found with 2 analogue triggers was one by Logitech but it was much more expensive. Being actually designed for use with a console by the first party producer of the console you know it cannot be a bad product and, as it’s Microsoft, you know it will work without any problems with your PC. If on Vista you do not even need to download the drivers, just connect the controller to a USB port and it will auto-install itself. I prefer the wired version because: 1) it’s cheaper 2) I don’t have to keep on buying batteries 3) I use it with my laptop so I play close to it anyway. In fact, the cable is pretty long so you won’t have a problem unless you have a massive TV and need to sit quite a few metres away from it. For ?18 I doubt you can find a better controller.
Customer Review: Well built bur poor driver for PC
Works very well with fifa 07 and quite well with fsx. Doesn’t work at all with anything else i’ve tried! It doesn’t seem to work with toca 3 demo or gtr 2 (full version) or Hit and Run or robot wars or incredibles. Perhaps there will be an improved driver soon but until then I’d stick with a saitek/logitech.
